Herb was picked up for his eye when I was looking for dumped cats in AlKhoud Park. With TBTT support for his vet visit, I took him to the vet. Upon exam and xray, it showed that he had a diaphragmatic hernia. Without oxygen breathing support no surgeries can be performed on these types of cats. I had no choice at that moment than to release him back. I applied for charity support for a subsidized surgery at Azaiba Veterinary Clinic. It was approved. Ten days after my initial capture, I returned to try to find him again. There he was, sweet and trusting. I caught him again. He had surgery yesterday and is recovering. He is still adjusting to breathing without the hernia. It was compressing his organs and lungs. After his eye surgery, he needs a clean place to recover for 10 days or so. Then, he can be released again. Please consider fostering this sweet boy. Thanks.
